
Celebrating Innovation: Young Influencers Programme Pitch Day 2025
The fourth year of the Young Influencers Programme, a key part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, concluded recently with the ‘Pitch Day’.Â
Young Influencers empowers Year 12 students to build their employability skills and learn about the banking industry through employee volunteer-led workshops and networking sessions, culminating in the Pitch Day.
The Pitch Day involved nine student teams visiting our Canary Wharf office to present their innovative solutions to local social issues in front of a panel of senior Societe Generale representatives.
The winning team, "Generation Connect," proposed a nonprofit to combat loneliness in over-75s by fostering community connections through inter-generational activities and funding via donations.
A special thanks to almost 100 staff volunteers who have dedicated their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support this past year’s cohort.
We look forward to continuing this impactful initiative and inspiring more Young Influencers in the future.
