Vincent Chardot

Vincent has more than 23 years of experience in audit, management and strategic monitoring. He started his career as an inspector at Societe Generale in 2001, leading a wide array of audits across all businesses of the bank. He then moved to New York City as Chief of Staff to the CEO Americas in 2008, monitoring various strategic initiatives and associated communication in a very changing environment after the financial crisis. After 6 years, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Banco Societe Generale Brasil, our main banking subsidiary in Brazil, overseeing Operations, IT, Finance and other smaller units, and progressively assumed the additional role of Chief Risk Officer. In December 2020, he relocated to Paris to become Head of Strategy for Global Banking Technology and Operations (GBTO) and finally rejoined IGAD in 2023 as Global Supervisory Director, also in charge of audit for Technology and Operations for Wholesale Banking.
