What does it mean to receive the World’s Best Bank Transition Strategy Award?

18/07/2022

After a long series of prestigious sustainability-related awards received this year (IFR, The Banker, Global Finance), our commitment to our clients was rewarded once again, confirming our teams’ amazing willingness to act for a sustainable social and environmental transition.

Being named “World’s Best Bank Transition Strategy” by Euromoney* is a great recognition of our expertise and methodology used to help our clients implement their net-zero strategies or shift toward a more sustainable business model. It also values our own commitment and concrete actions to achieve the Paris Agreement, as well as shorter-term targets for decarbonizing our portfolios and operations.

BUT THIS AWARD IS MORE THAN THAT

The world is urging all of us to take action and rethink our impact. For more than 150 years, our role has been to help issuers and investors to meet and to give life to great projects. The sustainability journey is complex and certainly takes more time than we would like, but we can be proud of our incredible teams who never stop innovating in this matter for our clients, for the young and next generations.

For the past 12 months, our commitment and concrete actions were strongly appreciated by our clients as well as the market and rewarded by many accolades. This is the result of more than 20 years of thought leadership and innovation. We are at the forefront of positive impact solutions by contributing to new standards, leading the energy transition, acting for communities across geographies and delivering innovation in ESG markets to reach new frontiers.

More than ever, we are at our clients’ side to help them reinvent or give life to sustainable businesses.
